THE TOP PLACES TO EXPERIENCE
Los Cabos is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, as evidenced by its miles of stunning coastlines. Apart from relaxing and sunbathing, Los Cabos & Cabo San Lucas offer many other exciting activities, beautiful scenery, and many adventures hidden in plain sight or in secret corners.
We have suggestions for you to see the area and enjoy Los Cabos’ charm if you are planning to visit soon.
Acre Baja
Acre Baja is the perfect place to relax, experience greenery and enjoy peace and quiet.
Acre Baja, located in the San Jose Del Cabo highlands, is a beautiful venue for weddings and long weekends. It is also the ideal resort for relaxation and connecting with the natural world.
It is more than just a resort with greenery and nature. The resort also offers the opportunity to explore Mexican and local culture. Fausto’s is a local restaurant that serves authentic frittatas and pulled pork torta.
Acre Baja is most well-known for its treehouse hotel. It can be described as your private jungle oasis, with world-class amenities. Our treehouse is accessible via a leaf-decked pathway. Wake up to birdsong as your alarm.
This is not only one of the most beautiful wedding resorts in Cabo but it’s also an excellent place to enjoy the authentic cuisine and flora.
Iglesia San Lucas and Town Square
Architecture lovers will enjoy Iglesia de San Lucas’s town square. This landmark is located near Cabo San Lucas’ marina. It was built by Spanish missionaries in 1730. Although the church has been renovated to preserve it, it remains unchanged from the 19th century. This gives sightseers an insight into the area’s history.
It is also a great spot to visit the town square. You will find many shops selling local food and souvenirs.
El Arco
El Arco is Cabo San Lucas’ most distinctive granite rock formation. It is located in Land’s End, which serves as a barrier to the bay. It also marks the point at which the Sea of Cortes meets the Pacific Ocean.
El Arco, which means “the arch”, looks like a rock doorway that connects the two bodies. This landmark is worth a visit if you are in the vicinity. Geologists believe El Arco is suffering from cracking because of the sun, weather, and humidity. It won’t last forever, unfortunately.
You can also take a boat tour or a water taxi to reach the arch. It is a popular spot for lovers, and a great place to view sea lions or other marine life.
San Jose Del Cabo
Cabo San Lucas’ sophisticated twin sister, San Jose de Cabo, is San Jose de Cabo. It is also known as Old Town, and exudes old Mexican charm. San Jose is the perfect place to get away from Cabo San Lucas’ endless parties.
An afternoon spent exploring their Plaza Mijares, visiting the old mission church and town hall, and enjoying a tour of their restaurant are exciting ways to spend your time. Local culture is explored and local food served.
San Jose del Cabo is home to some amazing beaches, such as Playa Palmilla or Playa Santa Maria. These beaches are great for snorkeling and viewing the marine life. You can also find some of the most prestigious golf courses in the area, such as the Palmilla Golf Club with 9 holes.
Cabo San Lucas Whale Watching
Although it may seem like a strange activity to think about when you think of Mexico and Cabo San Lucas this is actually one the most popular tourist activities.
The best season to watch whales is from December to April, with January and March being the best months for baby whales.
Most tour operators will drop a marine hydrophone to allow you to hear the whales singing underwater. The guides can also take photographs during your trip.
Tip: Book a tour with marine biologists as your guides to ensure that you have an educational and entertaining experience.
